The Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary (CCGA) Pacific is a volunteer marine search and rescue organization that assists the Canadian Coast Guard in many search and rescue operations. All of our efforts are coordinated through the Rescue Center in Victoria.
The CCGA-Pacific mission is to provide a volunteer based marine rescue service and to promote public boating safety, education and prevention.
Unit 64 is always looking for volunteers. If you would like to become a member of our team, do not hesitate to contact us via email.
If you would like to join, all you need is your PCOC card. Don't have one? No problem, contact us and we will assist you in obtaining one.
Training is provided free of charge; all you need to do is show up and be willing to have fun. We can do the rest.
Are you a commercial fisherman, charter operator, or just someone who enjoys being on the water? Do you own a personal vessel? We provide FREE Courtesy checks of your safety gear. Just email us and we will meet you on the dock.
